Today is a special day for our Mei Mei. She has been with us one day longer than she was in the orphanage. She is twenty months old and soooo cute. It truly seems like she has been here forever. The past 10 months have flown by. We cannot get over how gracious the Lord has been to us. She has changed from an adorable baby to a beautiful toddler. We love you Mei, with all our hearts.
UPDATE: I just realized that I got the date wrong. We will have had her one day longer on the 23rd. Oops!!!

being a caring home is taking care of the babies immediately when they are released from the hospital. the birth mother legally has 10 days to change her mind. naturally they don't want to place the babies with their adoptive families only to have the birth mother change her mind. 10 days is the average. sometimes longer. is a very long process(although you probably know all about that!!) haven't started on my paperwork yet. trying to make it through the holidays first!!

She is so beautiful Jenn! I have been such a slacker catching up with my friends! I can't believe it has almost been a year since we got to lay our eyes on our beautiful babies from around the world and look at them all now. We really are looking forward to a reunion with all of our travel friends. Keep the posts coming!
